The average wait is 2-5 weeks at home. Starting May 1st all future trainees will be bused to Tontitown. There they will be trained on pretrip, backing, shifting, electronic logs and more. After that then they're bused to a "Seating Center" to wait for their trainer/mentor. I will be getting another trainee after my hometime on tuesday.

Not anymore, I got smart and left for a smaller company.
I gave them a prison term of a year and a half.
My miles sucked, i would say i averaged between 2000 and 2500 a week but towards the end if i broke 2000 it was a miracle.

It's funny how your miles "sucked" but you made what they told you would be your average. What did you expect, 3500-4000 a week?

    Cooper09 Thanks this.

Hell no i didn't expect 3500 to 4000 a week. That's not even possible with a slow truck and there customers.

I'm just saying for a company that makes you stay out 3 weeks the average sucked.
Since now i average 2800 to 3300 a week and im home every week now and i wasn't promised no average miles a week here.

Well, it is possible. At least it was. Before I quit, I was averaging between 3200-3500 every now and again. It's rare for solo drivers to get that much at PAM, but I would guess I was doing it probably half the time I was solo (maybe 4 weeks every couple months) Even the times I didnt make 3200 I was still getting probably 27-2900. I dunno. I guess it just all depends on who your DM is and if auto thinks you're reliable. From what I've heard here recently though, they are enjoying taking away longer loads from solos and giving them to...I forgot what my friend called them... "regional something or others"
