You asked, I told you.
However, I have always worked at No touch freight companies. You will be surprised how often you have to unload a truck at one.
The last company even had requirements for climbing that had to be proven and carrying 70 lbs for 50 feet. It was part of the physical to be hired. If you could not do it, there was the door. Never touched a piece of freight there.

Just went in for my physical. Failed. too much glucose in my urine and BP too high for anything other then a 3 month card. I am at a serious loss right now. No job until I can pass the DOT physical. I am off for 8 days anyway. Is there anything I can do short of going to my regular Doc (don't have the money for that) and dropping money (that I do not have) on a bunch of pills?
This next few days is going to be he77 because I HAVE to go on a short trip with my family to Ohio to pick up my oldest daughter and bring her back for college. I am looking at a nonstop run from North Eastern ND to Columbus Ohio. Rest for a day and return back home. I am going to be jacked up on coffee and power drinks to make both runs. Don't have the funds for over nights on either leg. -
some stores like walmart have 90 day supply's of generic drugs for $9.99

Just my opinion, but that's not what your BP and glucose levels need. Why not sleep in the car each way? It's better than trying to kill your body that way. -
Going to be myself, the wife, two 15 year old daughters and an 11 month old son for the trip down. On the way back it will be myself, the wife, two 15 year old daughters, 11 month old son, 18 year old daughter, and her boy friend.
As far as drivers, the wife can't drive very well, the oldest daughter can't walk and chew gum and the boy friend? Not driving my vehicle. I have driven this route before so it would just be best for me to drive. I have done it it one hop many times before when I was hauling cars. -
The stress of the trip and the stress of knowing you are going to be restested will increase both your glucose levels and BP- not to mention the caffine. Understandable that you can stop but as Healthydriver suggested why not try to rest in the car? No medication would work that fast to control BP and glucose levels (bar insulin). Sorry no fast or easy answers.
