Yeah I hear ya. I miss it to be honest with you lol. Life was simple back then. But now with oil companies and water rights etc., it costs a fortune. My family owned/leased upwards of 5700 acres once. Over the years, we're down to a couple hundred. Big farming moved in and pretty much took over everything.
