Hey Im new from SD

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am from South Dakota and have been thinking about trucking for awhile now. I am currently a computer nerd, I have a two year degree and have been doing this for awhile now. Reason Im thinking about leaving is I dont see myself going anywhere in this company since every ones been there for 10+years so I wont be able to advance anytime soon. Plus they are all going to be on the job for probably 10+ years since they are fairly young.

No one else is hiring anyone with a two year degree so Im basically stuck and dont really want to be in this field for another 30 years so Im not going to spend another $30k+ to get a BA. I am 24 years old, single, no kids, and see my parents a few times a month so I think trucking would be a perfect way to make some money. Hell do it for 10-15 years save a bunch of money and come back and start some type of business, since thats the ultimate goal.

So thats basically about me. I hope to learn a lot here. After the new year Ill probably apply at MCT in Sioux Falls, SD.

Once I make up my final mind I will be sure to do that. Although I see there is already a post about MCT(not MCI). It appears to be a very good company.
