    did you take your road test in an automatic? see you had orientation in GA that's where ill be going in a week.

    Actually I had my orientation in Irving TX, I got dispatched from GA with my trainer. Since I was a student they waved the road test. I've heard it could be either though, but I've heard it is really easy so don't worry about it. My trainer has an automatic truck and it makes the job too easy.

    oh, I am also a recent grad, do they wave the road tests for all recent grads or was it just kinda a luck thing? ill be bringing my certificate among everything else needed.

    I'm not 100% sure if that's the rule of thumb, however they never asked about the certificate my school gave me either. Bring your stuff for tuition reinbursement! Be ready to go home after orientation or wait in general because they have a shortage of trainers.

    Truckerduo thanks for the response that was exactly what I needed!

    Dog-c hopefully not, I'll be running teams on the target dedicated out of denton post training.

    when you do get a trainer, do you have to drive all the way to the HQ (or whatever they call them) that you took orientation with? im 7 hours away from tunnel hill, so that would kinda suck to make the trip, make the trip back, then make the trip again. or can the trainer just get you wherever?

    You may have to take a bus to meet your trainer in a different state.

    I had to take a bus from Fort worth TX to tunnel hill GA. Took about a week to get one, has been told it takes longer.
