Good evening ladies and gents. I was wanderin around the web lookin for some mechanical expertise and I found this little slice of heaven!
I have been licensed for about 16 years but only been driving on my own for the last 12 months. I was one of those 'get it on down the road' trucker wives for the first 11 years. I always joked that I could use 16 of my gears but none of the ones that started with an "r".
My husband has been driving longer than he could reach the peddles and my sister has a million miles as well. DH had a hip replacement last Oct. so I was given the job of learning to back up and take over the old Pete. With 8-11 picks a week starting in the produce district of Los Angeles, CA, I was able to learn how to back this long nosed beauty.
I drive our truck and DH drives for a friend now.
I could sure use some mechanical info especially regarding the electrical side of things.
Thanks
