Hi All, I'm anewbie from Michigan

I just found this amazing forum the other day.I am a Skilled tradesman for GM. I took the CDL training from American Workplace Trucking school in Auburn Hills Mi. a couple of monthes ago and got my CDL A.
Then GM announced our plant was closing. I am 57 years old and had 25 years with GM and the only way I can I can keep a job is to relocate. I will probably have to take an early retirement (not good). I really loved driving the tractor trailer. I have driven a lot of big straight trucks and heavy equip. but never a tractor trailer. I have already learned a lot from this site in the short time I have been lurking.Our plant closes in Oct. 2009. I will continue to check out this site but if anyone has and tips for me Thank You in advance.
