I'm just a friendly fella up in Washington looking for a change in scenery.

I've spent the last decade in the IT field, accustomed to the 60-80 hour weeks already, I've decided that I'm hanging up the keyboard and looking to get behind the wheel like both my pops, and his pops did. Third generation to be it seems.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your trucking endeavor. It seems like a lot of IT people have been wanting to change over to trucking. I wonder why that is.

But hey, all the power to you! Lots of useful info and friendly folks on this forum.

Appreciate it. I've been searching a ton, but posting very little, figured I would change that up finally.

I'm Eastern WA so looking at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake. They boast a pretty good game on completion.

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

Chasing Bits around a network or chasing freight around the interstate.... Is there that much difference?

Stare at a screen for 12 to 14 hours or stare out a wind shield?

Just don't start playing live action pong with the 4 wheelers.
