Chinatown do you know if MCT has a thread with info on them? I have not been able to locate any. Disregard they are now showing up when I search without having Comcar with it just MCT.

I Completed my Class-A CDL training and passed the Tennessee State test and have a nice new CDL. I am starting orientation on 2-23-16 with MCT a division of COMCAR Industries. I will update how it goes and what type of miles I get. I am looking forward to seeing California and all the places in between it and Georgia. Any comments, suggestions or tips that would help a newbie out are welcomed.

graduated truck driving school in georgia in dec 2015, just applied to mct, are you still there? if so, how is it?

rponder, no I am not with them, I was sent home from orientation to get a sleep apnea study done, I did have sleep apnea and have started using a CPAP but MCT wants 90 days of usage before they will hire me so I am trying to find a company that will hire me with a shorter time frame. If you hear of any please let me know. Good luck at MCT they or 100% no touch freight and 100% automatic trucks which sounds like a dream job.

Try Abilene Motor Express.
100% no-touch freight and lots of west coast/pacific northwest runs. -
well i have severe allergies, and very bad teeth, 5 so far, but all have to be extracted, i had already taken a sleep apnea test from my ear nose and throat clinic, at a sleep disorder center because im overweight, but they never recommended me to have to use a cpap because my condition is not severe enough

I have completed my sleep apnea/CPAP compliance requirement and will be starting with MCT in the next couple weeks.
d o g Thanks this. -
Did not go with MCT they would not accept a 30 day CPAP compliance report after all and wanted a 90 day one. I am happy to say that I was able to get on at US Xpress and was successful with the physical agility test which I had concerns over and was the initial reason I did not pick them first, I have day 3 of orientation left and then will go on the road with a trainer for a few weeks and then team for 8 weeks before I am turned loose, I do hope to find someone to partner with and continue as a team driver if the 8 weeks go good.
Lonesome, Captain Zoom and d o g Thank this. -
Was hired 4-27-16 at US Xpress and could not be happier, waiting to be assigned to a trainer for my 175 hrs of driving time, I am hoping to do team driving and will update as I get into it.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Sounds like you're gettin' on, bub!
Congrats!
