1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

i am a recent cdl grad looking for a job for the last 6 weeks.
i migrated to USA in 2007 and as such my Class D license wil be full 1 year old by july end. no one is ready to hire me because my license is not old enough and i do not have much work experience of any kind to show in USA. i could not find a suitable job to support my family in the first place and so veered towards truck driving , spent $3000 in a truck school Smith & solomon in NJ. now i am really screwed and am at the end of my wits
plese help me, guide me, anyone please help me get some experience.i am in new jersey

Yeah class D is just a regular car driver license, you need to have a class A CDL (commercial drivers license)

Insulting the members of a forum in one of your first couple posts will not get you answers you want.

Besides we took you at YOUR word of what you posted.

I would seriously recommend you read the site rules and regs and not be insulting others again. They are here, please read them.

thanks for suggesting i call swift .alredy did that. swift and cr england are the two companies that have told me to call back end of july when my original D license will b 1 yr old.my cdl is just 6 weeks old .
sorry if u felt insulted, but i mistook ur 'useless to argue with ignorance' sign to be meant specifically for me. now i know that it is ur universal signature line along with the 'stop global whining ' sign
    sorry again!

Sounds like you need to go into psychology not truck driving.

    Muleskinner Thanks this.

If Swift, CRE, JB Hunt and similar won't hire personally I don't know any body else to call.

    Apology accepted.

    Muleskinner Thanks this.
