Hi everyone, BDogg here from Mi. Not new to the industry but new to the forum. I've had a class A from about 10 yrs but I don't currently drive big rigs. Right now I work for a comp. driving a concrete mixer and dump trailer; among other things. I love my job, but the comp. I work for is going str8 into the toilet. I'm currently laid off for the the winter, so I'm just putting some irons in the fire. One of the worse things I've realized about the trucking industry, is the "Catch 22". Every company wants you to have 1-2 yrs. of OTR experience, but you can't get that experience without getting hired. Unfortunately, I got my CDL through Lansing Community College; not the most reputable truck driving school in the country. So suffice it to say, I had significant difficulty finding a job. Anyway, just wanted to say Hello to everyone.
