just dropped in to say hi. my name is dan. got my license thru swift trans. back in '97. drove fot them for 4 months. quit and drove for a small distribution co. in van nuys for 2 years. then got hired with coca cola back in 2000. got terminated last sept. and still looking for local work. just finished with abritation last month and won't know till june what final decision is to get my job back

 

i got approved for unemployment after appealling. i got into an altercation with another driver over equipment. coke said i violated their physical violence policy when i never pushed or hit the driver. i just grabbed the dockplate out of hands and he lost his balance and fell over. thats the short of it. union says i,ll get my job back but coke still being stubborn.we,ll have to wait now and see what the arbritrator says.
