Thanky, the hiring process was a pain, but yes so far it has been going well for me. No complaints. and I like my truck! Today was our first day on the road alone. Ohio, Ohio again. Lots of rain. Nice, i am writing this sitting at my little table! :biggrin_2558:

Hi Gerhard and everybody else, I did good in Upgrading test so I am running solo. It's day 6 OTR alone...the tuffest thing I ever done. Got lost, was late, ran out of hours, wasted time and fuel crawling around in places I shouldn't even be, tryin to find my way back, and everything is taking me hours to get it done. Man was i shielded in training. All of a sudden the rig is ten times the monster it was. But i love it.

As time passes, it will get easier. Take your time and don't get in any big hurry. Glad to hear your doing great and be safe out there. :biggrin_25525:

i go out Monday from Phoenix, can't wait but i know your pain.
its the fear factor, just stop and take a few moments to plan. it is something you did time and time again when training. the thing is your still learning and now you know a few more things not to do again. a friend of mine that just went solo last month ran out of fuel in New Mexico yesterday because dispatch told them they could make it.lol YOU WILL BE FINE, Just keep an eye on your tail and take your time.

Thank you.... i know you understand. Yes, I'm going thru truck paranoia at this point. The rig is huge. Their board GPS is in place to madden us. Also dispatch is pressuring me. Haven't been home since came out of training whereas the first trip should go by the house to pick up your stuff. I have nothing to live on the truck, it's freezing i got no winterclothes, no bedstuff, no pillow, no boots, no towels, nothing, cos they're keeping me out here in the North East.
