I'm new here, and have been seriously thinking about holding off on college for a few years and getting into trucking. I am working on studying up for the cdl test and would like to get a OTR job this summer when I turn 21.

I was wandering what my options are for learning how to drive a truck (schools, private instructors, companies...) and what I should do. Are there any companies that hire 21 year olds with no experience?

Also, would it be relatively easy to have a cat along with me in the cab? Any other information on what I should expect and what needs to be done in order to get into the industry is appreciated

    Thanks, Andrew
