Hi I am KH, a greeter. I can give plenty of advice. There are better companies than CR England. To begin do not do the lease. Sencondly, unless CR England is your resort, please consider other companies like central Refrdgerated, Swift, or Driver Solutions (USA Truck and PAM use them to get their drivers). Check these bad reports before making the final decision:

Is there another company that I can attend without up front money? Pay as you go, after youre hired??
-
PRIME turned me down, STEVENS AND CENTRAL dont hire drivers for my area, MTC wanted too much money up front. Any other suggestions??

First off, I see you're a Gordon fan!
(ducks and runs for cover....)
Just kidding, man!
Welcome to you! I would think in Indiana there would be some other opportunities for training...Kinghunter had some really valuable input in his post above, so please take heed. Swift wouldn't be a bad option for you...I also thought of Star Transportation out of Nashville, TN, but I'm not sure of their training/hiring region at present.
I just poked my head in to say good luck to you!
(...and I'm not a Gordon fan either....)Intmd8rBlk3 and kickin chicken Thank this. -
Hello, and thank you for posting and for everyones comments. I to am just starting out. I saw the England website - and wow, looks really awesome. I have been doing a lot of research (well googling actually) and I found the following companies that offer no upfront cost training (minimal out of pocket cost for meals):
Swift, England (of course you know that), Prime (sorry they turned u down), Stevens Transport, Driver Solutions & Central Refrigerated Service. I'm sure there is more but that is what I have for now. My first choice was Schneider, but they currently are not offering training to get a Class A.
Hope it works outkickin chicken Thanks this.
