If you have to hide something useful, go to a different company.

I want to hide it for cosmetic reasons.

Oh I misunderstood. I have seen trucks with them behind the skirts nicely. Good luck. I understand that.blacklabel Thanks this.

I saw that last nite and thought of this thread. I'd have taken a pic if I was tech savvy enough to get it on here. Shortnosed largecar with a short wheelbase and about a 60" flattop. Had a toolbox drivers side that was propped open n I could see his big tarp on top of it.( Steel tarp over his load) this additional tarp was on top of a little genny/apu that slid out of the box on tracks. Real quiet. If I hadnt gone closer about to ask if be needed a hand tossing big tarp on the trailer I wouldn't have realized that's what it was. Slick.Last edited: Jan 29, 2013
blacklabel Thanks this. -
I appreciate the thought. Everyone wants the economy of having one but some wont sacrifice looks

I'd like one. It would look funky, and also raise my tare weight vs the aluminum toolboxes that reside behind my fuel tanks now. I also would have to have it all replumbed and wired so that adds cost. If I were to buy a brand new truck that'd be on the must have list, but to retrofit it'd actually take me a few years to see r.o.i.

Check out Centermatics apu looks almost identical to a Peterbilt toolbox.
