I don’t have that information the very first rebuild was at 15,000 hours at 440,000KM . The second one the dealer is going to let me know I’ve inquired about this already. But my estimate would be around 20-22 thousand hours

My cat has 630,xxx miles and 21K hours hasn’t been rebuilt once…….
-
Yes, my previous truck was also a cat motor. 2.2 million KM 32,000 hours that’s when it had its first. I’ve heard these Cummins don’t last as long
-
If they have the paperwork itemizing all the parts and you think it was done properly , I wouldn’t be afraid of buying it if the price is right .
haycarter Thanks this. -
No kidding thanks for the input I appreciate your advice.

Improper “fixes” will burn down a diesel very quickly sometimes.. pulling heavy like you will I’d be leery especially without a pyrometer.
-
Trucks got a pyrometer. Think I’m gonna stay away just because of the sketchy history on it
-
And, considering this truck supposedly was a ‘crude hauler’ for a portion of its life, the whole chassis should be of suspect quality depending what the ‘line ticket’ reads.
