High Exhaust Temperature light when idle

    I wish there was a answer to fine out why the high exhaust lights comes on and then the stop engine comes on?

    3015? A truck from the future.


    Seriously many of the trucks with six engines I have freak out when they hit the end of an off ramp and stop, a few chug with lights and a few go into meltdown mode for a few seconds then act normal all of a sudden.

    Cummings tells me that this is "normal" but I am not buying that crap, something is wrong,

    How much oil consumption are you guys having? Maybe it’s just clogging back up?
