Hi guys, whoever created this thread is a good person! After reading all this I decided to change my stock $40 muffler. I was thinking to buy PP muffler before but since I can buy Donaldson M100463 twice cheaper from the website stated earlier on this thread, I decided to share the pics with you! 1st one is the stock exhaust, you can see how gutted it is, second one is the donaldson unit. Havent tested the truck yet, its a 06 volvo D12. Will post the results.

51 days I've been waiting for my M100463 to arrive from the USA , still got 9 more days to wait till they get here. Australia just does not seems to import them as standard stock, so I had to place a special order and wait 60 days. Waiting waiting waiting oh the pain!

Great mufflers with a 4 yr warranty. -
Hmm, I put on the Walker 22920 at 69 bucks back in Oct from Amazon. Just now looked them up on Summit and they go for 56 bucks. There straight through. And the inside looks like the Donaldson unit pictured up above.
Well I think they sound pretty good and not crazy loud.EverLuc Thanks this. -
Anyone still interested, FLEEPRIDE sells these things for $72.32/ea + tax, (unless you're in NH to subtract the tax). PART # M55NB. Enjoy

Hill Truck Sales in South Bend, IN has the M100463 for $117 out of their Memphis warehouse (17 were in stock there). Takes about a week to get in, but considering the cost of shipping elsewhere on top of the $95 part, it's pretty much a wash.
My stock muffler rusted off. I considered a straight pipe, but the service rep at my local dealer advised me to keep a bit more backpressure in the system to keep the ECM happy. The VGT spooled up and down constantly at idle right before the muffler turned right as I turned left, so I can see it being a legitimate concern.
I'll post a side by side before I install next week. -
At the prices those guys posted about Walker megaflow it seems you'd be cheaper to seek out one of those? Sounds like the same muffler as M100463. No baffles inside of it anyways. My two M100463's have been laying horizontally underneath the cab for over 5 years now and no problems. They are recommended as vertical only.

I have really liked the Walker Megaflow mufflers I got from Summit Racing back in 2012 and put on my new glider.
