I'd like to know the power supply and airwaves used to transmit the signal.
I know it can be done.
My last job had gauges in tanks. Supplied by the broker. Everyone that had the privilege could see what the customer tank levels were.
What they used for power i have no idea other then possibly batteries. Which seemed to last a long time.
What they used for a transmitter signal is another mystery. Cell phones didn't work at most of the tank locations.

Weirdly enough if the brokers keep the market down long enough they push it hard on the next down turn and it will be a new norm…..TheLoadOut, Iamoverit and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

We have been refusing to sign up with any broker requiring Highway. Highway is basically just another broker for brokers to hide behind. We are ELD Exempt and Highway does not have a work around.
Highway is making it nearly impossible for a trucking company to start back up again and even more so, to start up at all. It's challenging being an Owner Operator with Highway having their filthy paws on everything. Truckers we need to push back!
Luckily, we have some direct customers that we hauled for in the past that will take us back, but one major one has their trucks "vetted" by highway and they won't allow us back in. We hauled 5-6 loads per week for them before we shut our trucks down for a family crisis.
We as a group, really need to push back on Highway as well as the Broker transparency!!TheLoadOut Thanks this. -
I absolutely agree with you, but so many bend over when the bills need to be paid, but bending over for $1.50 is like bending over without lube. Those that have given Highway their private login info probably shouldn't be trucking. -
It’s definitely frustrating.. we watch these loads sit.. we got lucky and found a broker in Texas and they are begging us to come back down and haul more for them… it makes no sense.. I understand the security aspect, if it were actually just for security purposes…. The brokers are just hiding behind highway…86scotty Thanks this.
