So next Thursday I head to DFW to begin training with Stevens Transportation. Class starts Monday the 19th. I'll try to post regularly and honestly about the journey. Be sure to subscribe.

    What made you choose Stevens?

Honestly they were my 3rd choice. FFE recruiter stopped talking to me due to FL license. Even though next Friday I will have a TX license. Magnum has no housing. Plus the recruiter at Stevens has been attentive and honest.

Right down the street is Fuel City, and they make profoundly good tacos and burritos.

Originally I was going to drive to TX. But my SUV had other plans. So I am going to fly Spirit to DFW and Uber around.

where you're training is easy to get around and has plenty of food and grocery options. Fuel City is only good to people who didn't grow up with Tex-Mex, meaning it's above-average but about the 30th best option in DFW.

Steven’s will suck but not any worse than any other mega. Put your time in however long you have to and move on. Don’t let them talk you into a truck fleece and you’ll be ok.
