Hire W/O experience?

Plenty of companies will hire you so get that CDL and most importantly, get all the endorsements. More difficult to find a job with no endorsements. Even reefer companies prefer drivers with all the endorsements, especially Hazmat. For example, you might hall a load of produce out of California heading East, then the next load available is cans of paint. Paint requires a hazmat endorsement.

 

Have you already started cdl school? If so, how many hours is the school? Preferably 160 hours or more.
Are you interested in trucking company cdl school or will you attend a private cdl school in your area?

 

If you want tankers, the only one I know of right now hiring new cdl school grads is Schenider Bulk.
Avoid dry van at Schneider because the pay is very low.
