That's quite disappointing, I guess I'll see how it goes. I'm just concerned that without some way to drive off duty, it'll mess up my logs since I refuse to sit at a meathouse for more than a few hours if there's something else nearby(truckstop/walmart/etc).

They should definately have a driving off duty line for bob-tailing or enroute empty to the house.

There is a mode they call personal conveyance. With it your drive time is not logged, but you must be bobtail and NOT under dispatch.

Concerning when line 3 automatically kicks in, when mine was first installed it started at 5 mph, not the 15 mph they said. Then the next morning somehow it worked as it should, kicking in at 15 mph...

I've asked for a Trans Am sub forum, how about nagging your local mod/admin and see if we can get it done.

Well, because of the benefit package I can't do anything other than company until we get a few medical issues addressed. That will also give me a little extra time to weigh the pro's and cons and see where I come out. My coach loves the L/O program and has 2.5 years left on his deal.

Everyone I've talked to said it really comes down to efficiency and the willingness to stay on the road.

Oh, so we drove through that system that spawned the Dallas tornados. We hit it west of Shreveport, and I guess it lost a bit of energy by then. He got a little, small hail but very little wind.

Anyway, my coach was driving and this Fed Ex truck pulling doubles just flies by us and my coached said, "Don't be surprised if we see him again." Sure enough, about a half hour later we caught up to him as he had jack knifed and was tangled in the guard wire than runs the length of medians. Just a stark reminder of what can happen if you're not careful.

Still enjoying my time with TA. Three weeks of road training is over and the final week of training and testing has begun. Tomorrow, I think, is the lease presentation.

My coach was great, my three weeks was great and now I have to figure out how to proceed from here.
