I've heard good things about the @Chinatown app.

No problem finding a job if we know why so many applications have been rejected. These 2 threads show which companies he's applied with.
Kyle G. Thanks this. -
In my opinion a hiring app is just a way for some third party to get a commission for directing an applicant to get hired by a company that is hiring anyone with the qualification they accept. It's like selling a lotion to enhance male ability to be ready in the bedroom. There's nothing special in the lotion, it's action of using the lotion to get ready that is doing all of the work. Is some trucking company not going to hire a candidate that meets their qualification because the applicant went to their website and didn't use the app? Some small companies may outsource the finding new drivers to some company with an app but that company is also advertising on craigslist, indeed, glassdoor, etc.
You can use the FMCSA database of companies to find companies and them do an internet search for their web site or make a free phone call. -
In a way, it is. But at the same time, smaller carriers generally use 1-3 methods at a time for lead generation. We currently use Driver Pulse, CDL Life and Jobs in Trucks, but have used others like Hire Master as recently as last year. We have also considered The Trucker's Report, but our needs aren't so great as to need more lead generation at this time.
For a new driver, Listen to the recommendations from your instructors. If you are truly in SLC, ignore CRE, inquire with Pride, and don't count out the major players (Knight/Swift etc.). -
His screen name has SLC, but he lives in West Palm Beach, Florida

Good luck getting a good job from there. LOL. He'd be better off in SLC.tscottme Thanks this.

Plenty of jobs, but for some reason his applications are being rejected.

"Some reason."
There is currently a slump in freight and more drivers than loads. There has always been an excess of drivers to loads in Florida, but with the current downturn, places can be more selective in hiring... and a fresh graduate in Florida is one of the least desirable candidates.
