. I don’t see that the letter is a response to a verification of employment ( which they are dodging) maybe the guy intends to make himself whole with the company when he is accepted at new job. Hirschcrap is just trying to block his options and that letter is inappropriate response to a verification request.

From what I read, this isn't about the driver and his loan. It appears Hirschbach is telling the company they believe that company has entered a gray area legally speaking. Just a basic letter letting them know Hirschbach is watching and to proceed at their own risk.
Obviously, more an intimidation attempt, unless the company IS doing something illegal.

No. They are a bottom feeder mega carrier. Just like Swift Prime etc.

Back when; a Credit Reporting company took the account (debt) for collection. Were to get a percentage of amount collected and sometimes a front fee of say $10.00 for posting. All they did was inform every inquirer for that report, that XX had an account of $X posted for collection. This was not a judgement from a court and THEY could not enforce. They depended on the pressure to build and the inquirer pay it to clear for his future dealings, or the poor subject would get declined so many time he would come around and pay. One can purchase an account and have it assigned to him. He can then sue, get judgement, wait the prescribed time of appeal, THEN place liens or garnishments against those holding funds due the judged. Posting an account with a Credit Bureau is similar to tossing a handful of corn out the door at night hoping to get a bird, or a big hog.

Then stop talking out of your rear. Your trolling comment is about as accurate as "all whites are racist."

We do not lock you in to a contract, but we do have a financial agreement to cover the costs accrued during your training time. It will be an 18-week payout agreement. The amount of time will vary depending on if you are a solo or team driver after your training.

Maybe the new drivers today can't read.

most drivers today just sign anything blindly. i remember when i did my lease purchase contract with DSV and the safety gal was pushing papers into my face to sign. i said you're gonna have to give me extra time to read all this crap. turns out my orientation ended up a couple hours longer than most because the gal said im the only one she has actually seen, read everything I was given. pretty crazy to think about.
