What if the curb was pedestrian, or a kid on a bicycle?

So, you could also wait in order to make a proper turn and not run over the curb and grass, yes?

We wern’t talking about hitting people. Just curbs. Unless the person’s feet or the bicycle is stuck in the concrete they can usually move out of the way. A curb can’t. Lol!

I'm not saying go into curbs or grass just because you feel like it only when necessary and left with no other choice

I hit a curb one time because the hot sauce leaked from my taco made my hand slip on the steering wheel and it made me slide forward and crashed my knee into the handrail that’s on the left side of the dash. Hurt like the dickens for a week.

Was almost as funny as the time I hit a speed bump at about 25mph bobtail (it was painted black and was night time) at this warehouse and my head hit the ceiling of the sleeper, landing between the seats and the truck stalled.

My point is, stuff happens. Or I should be wearing a seatbelt. No, definitely because stuff happens.

my best guess, is that the truck he was following, had a tendency to go fast(er), and he wanted to keep up, or risk getting stopped at a red light, and losing sight of him?

If you think corners are tight bobtail, RGNs are more fun. To figure out just how much fun, slide your 5th wheel all the way back and do the same with your tandems. Now drive through town.

Oh...and you're only about 4" off the ground, so a really tight turn tears up asphalt, gravel, grass, CURBS .....

Coffey, Dave_in_AZ and 650cat425 Thank this.
