Oh, it is. However, for some, it's selective honesty.

If you hit two Poles, that's okay. Hit two Hungarians and that's another matter.

I would say a day or two.But your company may also wait till you get back to the term then safety will call you in.Was there any damage to your trailer or fresh red paint on trailer?

The trailer was already very beat up. On the passenger side someone hit a blue poll and there are a lot of dents and coloring. I guess someone was making a turn and ended up running the trailer along side of the poll. There aren't any fresh marks that show any paint from when I hit the poles.

OK then you won't need to worry about the companies mechanics saying anything. If these are old poles and mean nothing to the shipper you probably don't have anything to worry about.

They are not on the ground they are just leaning. They did however come out of the ground because all of the dirt from underneath them kicked up

I wouldnt worry about it. Just because there are cameras everywhere dosent mean anybody sees everything. they only look at camera footage if something bad happens.
Ran over a stop sign right in front of a cop one time, just kept rolling. Cop dint care either lol

Why didn't you mention it to the shipper? I hit a dumpster at a shipper many years ago and broke a piece of metal off that held it up off of the ground. I didn't bother to tell them. They called the company and put in a 65.00 dollar claim. They were more upset about me not saying anything than the fact that I hit it.
