Its hard being away from home as a driver.
Missing family is hard. Good cell phone plan is a must.
Make time to talk to family. If you have a laptop while your sitting use video chat with you wife.
OTR is definatly not for everyone but it does pay the bills and sometimes we have to sacrifice time together to acheive this.
Your away for a few weeks each time.
Think about our men and women in the service spending months away from home and how hard that must be for them.
Get some experiance and trucking locally will be open to you.

Good point about servicemen, that's what helped me maintain my sanity, know I will get home once or twice a month for several day's compared to our men and women overseas. Cal, keep your head held high, knowing that you are making great sacrafice's to support your family. I'm sure your wife and lil one's are proud of dad.
