Holiday weekend planning

    So 3 years in, I've got a good feel for lanes, and rates. Normally I'm home for major holidays. This weekend will be the first major holiday that I'm on the road when the holiday is on a Tuesday.

    Normally I book out and charge for Tuesday delivery(holiday on monday).
    I assume most customers will be closed Monday as well. Any thoughts you old farts?

    Most places will have a lonely security guard handing out preloaded trailers,a few large companies will have a full staff around the actual holiday but don't count on them actually paying it on the fourth.
