    bduke,

I was off for Thanksgiving and was paid $193.12 for that day. We did have to work on Friday. In fact, all three of us had to work along with one common carrier to take care of the customers.

I don't know how long the other two drivers worked. I worked ten hours on Friday. I was paid $603.50 for that day. Not to bad for a day of work. I wish that could be everyday!

    Drive safe

I was to have picked up a load Friday and within 15 minutes of getting there, the load canceled...otherwise I'd be out right now.

Now thats what I call compensation for working on a holiday!!!!

Your pay for not working on Thursday was not to bad as well. I assume it was for 8 hours?

Other than you and latenea, I don't see to many big numbers in regards to holiday pay. Why do you think that is the case?

I would like to hear from others why the pay seems to be so low for holiday pay.

    Anyone?

    about 12.25

it is a 5.5 down and a 5.5 back - with some bench time thrown in while they switch me out in Nashville.
