What this video DOES NOT show is that when I sped up, the other driver sped up and when I slowed, the other driver slowed. Once I was in the left lane I did start to pass her, but then she sped up and was passing me. That's when she started with her finger pointing suggesting that she wanted to shoot me. She then pointed to the shoulder suggesting for me to pull over.
My truck is governed at 68 mph, her truck is not governed. In the video you can see her passing me, and it is my concern that she wants to get back in front of me in an attempt to block me and force me to stop. Possibly by slowing down this would have given her that opportunity? What then, she hops out and starts shooting? Could there be more surprises jumping out from the bunk area?
These are still photos taken from my dashcam. It's a Garmin and you can actually tell it when to take photos and videos without touching anything... pretty cool. I've been in different situations throughout my life as many of you have. Looking back you think, I could have done things differently. In the moment, you have seconds to make choices when confronted with a dangerous, or life threatening situation.

It's easy to see things from different viewpoints after the fact. It's a cold day in hejj when the company you work for doesn't appear to be concerned for your safety or seems thankful that you're OK.

I don’t know about the rest of you drivers but I’m willing to give the OP the benefit of a doubt based on the evidence provided. Obviously the other driver was b****crazy and I wouldn’t trust her with a tricycle, let alone a white Volvo!!
Knucklehead, lostheart, TruckDriver87 and 4 others Thank this. -
Not sure why you were traveling in the hammer lane. It looks like you were BARELY going faster. It would have taken forever to overtake the other truck going that slow up a grade.
You should have stayed behind the drop deck and just parked at a safe place to let her go about her day. It takes two to tango. She was obviously engaged. Pouring gas on fire will always end explosively. -
