Dennixx, I applied on the last week of Nov., I've been through the 1st phone interview, and the road test. The operations manager said the next step was the background check. How many yrs.back do they look in a driving record?

I guess I'll put my 2 cents in, I run out of So Cal for AP and love the job. We are the new kids on the block as before it was contracted thru trimac, which I wasn' around for. I came from another private fleet hauling fuel and their micromanagement was ALOT worse than ap. If you do what your supposed to it's easy work, the guys who have the biggest issue don' get with the program. I am a local driver and will clear 98k on my first full year here. We have a rover here as well but he is single with no kids, so he doesn't care about being gone all the time which comes with the position. Dont take the postion if it doenst fit your needs simple, just like our APEX division.

    Ruthless and kruz1980 Thank this.

I appreciate your 2 cents Cali kid. If PX gives me a shot, I'll be running out of AL.I am looking forward to learning a new side of trucking, never pulled tanker or hazmat.

And like @Dennixx said, don’t answer the phone once you do get home.

    Especially in warm weather climates.
You actually have to try to get dirty, and as far as handling haz mat it's probably the least dangerous and in the summer you'll appreciate the cooldown lol

Cali kid and kruz1980 Thank this.
