Yep. It took me a minute but I figured it out.

 

Ok... Help me understand...

If I run for $1.03/mile (loaded and unloaded) and can get 3k miles a week... How is that different than the $3k/week being tossed around above?

I know I am just missing something.

Driver pay (if someone else was paying you) say 0.50
Fuel 0.35
.85 or .18 left over

.18x3000 is 540. Can you pay insurance repairs payment all business costs on that? I guess you could draw money from that greedy driver pay...

 

Only bad thing I could say about the carrier your leased to. 4 dollar a gallon fuel and 0 fuel surcharge

The folks that have posted that number aren't doing $3000 on just shy of 3,000 miles a week.

I can't speak to what others #'s are. What I can say is that I'd like to make more money doing less work.

I want to work smarter not harder. If someone here feels they have a real understanding of how to make money with a truck I'm all ears. I'd love to learn something new. I'd love to be more successful.
