:biggrin_2556:so i went to little rock after a 19 hour bus ride turned into a 36 hour ride so i knew it was going to be a bad week .well after being their for 3 days i talked to a lot of drivers that came to little rock and things didnt look good they have a bunch of great teachers their and they also had alot of bed bugs to me and a few people that came their got ate up and they moved us down the street to a hotel it was ok but after talking to some of the drivers while on our breaks i found out they have a point system for everything you do for being late for a appt.to smoking at the place were you unload and found that they do have forced dipatch i didnt know that at frist well i didnt like the idea but i hung in their. but when they told me that the only days they say they will let you have at home is thanksgiving and x-mas well that let me know that you are just a number not a person im looking for more then a number in can get one of those in jail :biggrin_2559: so im home thinking about usa transportation, pam,or swift so any info will help me out will be appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25521:

So I think as a newbie forced dispatch will be pretty much universal anywhere you go and I think you got to listening too much to too many unhappy drivers instead of finding out things for yourself and yes many companies will tick you for failing to abide by the rules such as being late or smoking at a customers location where no smoking is allowed because after all there are rules to follow and to be quite honest with you you don't sound like you are ready to follow rules you're just wanting to run as you want and that won't work for you or the company you go to work for so i wish you well in your search but frankly don't hold out a lot of hope for you sorry to be so blunt

Come on REDD he has LOADS of experience ( shows in his 1 lonnnnnnnng sentence postings ) + Daddy owned 25 trucks, he was with TMC 41/2 months ( but supposedly they are a BUNCH OF CLOWNS ) .

Do none of them EVER check things out before they go to orientation

You're a company driver. I've never heard of an outfit that had only company drivers and said "no forced dispatch". Don't expect it to be any different with other companies.
