Saw a small portable ac on fb the other day. Was pretty cool, your pour two water bottles into it. Plug in turn on. It was about the size of a quart of oil.

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

If you get pulled over, it will be for the gas can, it is actually illegal no matter if it is in a bracket or not.

You need a gas can that conformed to the dot requirements, it has a loop above the handle,

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Nice setup. And I have seen several guys that showed some ingenuity in their a/c -generator setups. I would not want the dot to see the gravity fed system though. You can be cited.

    § 393.65 All fuel systems.
    (a) Application of the rules in this section. The rules in this section apply to systems for containing and supplying fuel for the operation of motor vehicles or for the operation of auxiliary equipment installed on, or used in connection with, motor vehicles.

    (d) Gravity or siphon feed prohibited. A fuel system must not supply fuel by gravity or siphon feed directly to the carburetor or injector.

I'm no DOT police, but those airlines? Are zip ties ok? I think you need the separators on air lines.

    Idk though...

The exhaust is directly beneath and close? to the trailer power cord and plug. Yikes

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.
