Sooner or later, gas can gonna leak down on hot generator.

Mount it away from generator to side, and put a drip loop in that rubber hose.

Just stow it when moving? You can anyway. Yeah i like the way you vent. That sleeper will be chilly. I have my ac up front with a pusher fan. It works but not in the Texas sun. If i put it behind the curtain like you did it would be cold.

 

The gas tank is gravity feed, so........ Your not using going down the road. I don't know if it matters at that point.

 

Absolutely!!!! Someone was asking for help, because his reefer fuel tank fell off and hit is rear tandem and exploded.... Burned up his trailer, and his insurance company denied the claim.... Could you imagine the gas can doing that... Might take some liberals out too

 

Really let see a plastic gas can sitting on top of a red hot engine that causes a leak then the gas leaks onto the generator causing the gas to ignite then that five gallon bomb of will burn pretty quick. That fuel line is also a nightmare but you seem to feel safe. It an illegal setup for a reason they make laws to protect people like yourself so you don't kill yourself and other people around you but hey you saved a dollar. My only ax to grind in this is the people you put at risk that park next to you. sorry to say they didn't ask to be put in harm way buy you.
