Back with an update! Yea I lost materialistic things which can be bought back. Everyone was safe so that's all I could ask for. Just been fighting with insurance companies & trying to get them to pay out. If you've never dealt with insurance companies I'm sure you don't want to! It's a pain in the bottom for sure! I actually just started my first day back at work today. Was assigned a new Tractor since my old one flooded. It's a bad time right now but not making any $$ won't make it any better. So I have someone to baby sit the youngins for me while I get back to work. Thanks to everyone whose checked up on me & kept me, my family as well as anyone in Louisina who went through this tragedy in their prayers! Much appreciated!!

Did you have flood insurance? The news said that a LOT of folks didn't because much of the flooded area wasn't known to be a flood zone. They called this a 500 year event, even though it wasn't a hurricane.
