Hey,
Looking to move to Albuquerque, trying to find a decent gig there. Seems like there's not much going on, can anyone help me out here?
Looking for something home weekly or every 2 weeks, I can pull anything that's not hazmat, but i can get the endorsement, have TWIC. Need to take home over a grand a week or it's not worth even using it to plant roots there.
Thanks in advance.
Home weekly, Albuquerque

ImI not familiar with that part of the industry, what is the job like?

Show up at well. Fill with crude in tanker trailer. Deliver.
They must be crying for CDL drivers to offer 125K. Makes me want to go down there...QuietStorm, SteerTire and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
I spent most of my time on an Indian reservation in ND. I assume it's kind of similar. Higher fuel prices usually mean higher wages since most companies pay percentage.QuietStorm Thanks this.

Oil field has always paid good. I think excellent is a better word actually.
In the 80’s I was in upper manufacturing management. Left that for the oil field, and made as much in one week as I had in an entire month. Every week without fail for 2 years.QuietStorm, x1Heavy and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
I've hauled Crude oil in the Dakotas. Pull up to well, do your gauge and testing, pull oil and deliver it to the lact... pretty easy once you get the routine down... just dont spill and boss will leave you alone...QuietStorm and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
