I'll tell you a little secret I have found out .. Teams have a different set of rules is some cases.. Example P.A.M says NO PETS.. Then I called them I live very close by.. .. Well come to find out if your a H&W Team you can have a Pet...Solo's -Nope ;) so not everything that solo drivers tell me is always a hard fast rule for H&W Teams ... Companies are much more accomodating in some cases to H&W teams in this industry from what I have found...as I have been told H&W teams are GOLD in Trucking ;)

For anyone at Conway w/o any special privelages the max home time allowed is supposedly 9 days. BUT get home after 7AM and that doesn't count. Get assigned a load that doesn't PU for 24 hrs after your back and that doesn't count so now with no "special treatment" your already at 11 days. Get home at 07:15 pack, next day fly out. 8 days in Mexico, fly back day 8 and return following day to driving.

That being said run hard, do your job well, be easy on your FM and its pretty much what they want I know guys that do 20 days HT straight and keep their truck. It isn't hard to impress Fleet managers now as most new hires are the same caliber mega carriers are getting so just don't complain and don't get in a wreck and your good. Actually deliver and PU on time and your a superstar now

Best part is I won't even charge for rough drafting your itinerary. They also do like husband/wife teams from what I've heard. Just remember you've both got to be able to enter Canada and as far as I know they still require new hires to get Haz-Mat but not sure it's been different story from drivers I talk to at terminals some say they were told they didn't need to get it and others were told they still did. I assume teams it is more stressed due to certain runs they usually get, but couldn't say 100%

I will second what country boy said. 9 days w/o having to clean out the truck. I'm pretty sure I actually have that in writing somewhere in my stack of paperwork....

That truck will get stanky with a dead ogre inside. Leave the a/c running to keep it cool at least. For D33HUNT, 9 days is policy. I have taken 10, 11, and 12 without anyone asking for my keys. Like someone else said, if you keep the FM happy, and it ain't that tough, you will get leeway. After that many days, I get pretty gittery to get back out!

I did have some medical issues twice last year which required turning in the truck because I didn't know how long I would be out. When I was ready to come back out, they found me a truck, prepaid a rental car, paid me back for gas and tolls on the car and off I went.

    Very reasonable program.

1 day for every 1 week out...wife and I stay home 14 days with no penalty. It does depend on your FM though...some will say 9 and some 14...I know plenty of teams and solos that stay out 3 weeks with no trouble...they have the good FM's. Do your job, stay out of trouble, run hard, and things should be fine for you. Good company...good choice. Also once you highlight for home they have 8 days to get you there...sometimes you arrive early...sometimes the 8th day.

Doing that very thing....... It's hard to get them to get you home exactly. Not sure if this is due to our Fleet Manager, or if company. But, they say 8 days prior to date you want, and town. You have to have physical address of truck And if at Truck stop....the TS's managers name and phone #. They will call to verify if you have spoken to the T'S manager( at least mine does) they say they have 9 days to get you there. Have spoken to many CW drivers some say " don't make an appointment until you know your headed where you're going"
