Any SoCal based Conway Truckload drivers know a good place to park during home time?

The TA in Ontario charges $20/day. I live in Costa Mesa. The Conway Freight yards all seem to say "no parking here". I was lucky last time and bobtailed to my old driver's school in Santa Ana for free, but understand the usual practice is to insist the driver stay hitched to an empty trailer during home time.

I'd check with some local businesses that might have space. When I go home I park at a Big Lots that allows trucks to park on the side.

in our town the local gas station has a vacant lot they let the local OTR drivers park in .. just kind of look around and see where there are others parking... take a drive and look around..

tks deerhunter. tho I'm sure you appreciate the LA metro area is different than AR - still a worthy idea & I'll try. Only problem is I must go home on home time to do it - Catch 22.
