Think of it like this John :

You're still going to be one of the few who can stomach working for CRST.... LOL
It is what you make of it here in trucking some of the drivers will never make it passed the first year

Some drivers make a personal agenda (single drivers only)
get some OTR training then a move

Some drivers (family drivers) seek out local driving, some are subject to being forced into OTR , until obtaining opertunity to work LTL docks on daily P&D

I'll get there eventually, I've never heard of someone being turned down a driving job who is safety orientated, has good work ethic and looks out for others besides themselves. There's so many great options out there, I don't mind Otr, I'm young Have no kids and have a great girl I've been with for almost 7 years. There's so many options I'm sure not stopping with just dry van haha

Don't know if they hire in your area, but Waggoners Trucking Co. pays teams .67 cpm split and runs Canada.

They're based out of Billings, Montana.
There's a list of terminals on the website and a couple are in Canada.
Just something to keep in mind for the future; it's not too early to start a plan for the future.

Isn't that the truth! Every chance I get I talk to another driver about they're company what they're hauling and how long they've been driving, you learn quite a bit.
Montana huh... That's where I'm stuck right now. Little bit of a commute to work lol

They have a division for that, but also flatbed. They haul sprinter vans out of South Carolina in the car hauling division.

I'm trying to get into flatbed... I don't mind manual labor. That's sounds #### near perfect except for location

Crsts biggest problem is being unorganized because it's so massive, they never know where there empty trailers are, but then again it's the drivers who don't send the macro for a trailer change...

If you can team...do dedicated teaming. You know what your pay is every week and as long as it is not a mega...the pay is usually pretty good. Might I suggest Carter Express if one is near you. I went to Canada once...not worth the hassle.
