I ain't voting. I know too many top notch hands on both sides of the deal. I prefer to make a decision on what kind a guy a feller is based on facts, not what he drives.

I will say I haven't always had this mentality. It took some growing up to get here.

Hood hands down. The wind resistance means faster stopping.

    I don't care.

The Government via the DOT mandates a certain way of building tractor trailers. There isnt any point in going over a vote about this. People who run Hoods know the limitations of same and work with it. I like em all. But if I had money on it's going to be a long nose. Either way really is ok. There isnt that much of a difference other than the idea that smaller cars could be hidden by the long hood if you are not carefully attentive.

Neighbors like t 800s, sloped hood? Only hood I ever drove was a Star Car sba. Similar to the t 800, even had the tank cradles, iirc.

But a cab as wide as a Cascadia has.

I like that the poll doesn't close until May 3, 2025. Gives me time to make a more informed decision, I can even video driving behavior and review it later to confirm or disprove my theory.

    Which is safer..??

they are as safe as the person driving either.

if the driver is paying attention, the same results will be accomplished.

if the driver is doing something to be a distraction, the same results will be accomplished.

it's not the style, make or model, or year of the truck, it's not the engine and drive train or electronic components that make for a safer truck.

it's the professional behind the wheel...not the nut.

this is why i also did not vote.
