Again some trailers do, some trailers dont. Older ones never did. But with half a brain you can.

None of my 4" straps with the typical flat j-hooks will fit the stake pocket opening so I can hook it to it, Only my 3" straps will fit the stake pocket. I do carry 4 of the ratchets with the short chain/hook and 4 of the 30' long straps with the chain/hook. They do come in handy. You can pick them up from Amazon or several other of your favorite securement retailers.
