hopeful newbie

Hi guys and gals,
I have been working for walmart for too many years and decided it is time for something new. Have liked the idea of trying out trucking for a few years now so am going to give it a shot, and naturally have a couple questions.

Been trying to decide between Roadmaster school or going to one of the companies that do their own training for CDL. Any insight on roadmaster or good companies that do the training? I know some do reimbursements for school as well, like werner and us express, and see good and bads posted about them.

Also have noticed that pretty much all the companies that offer jobs for newbies are frowned apon on here. are any of them good?

how much money should i really be expecting to make my first year... like weekly and cpm.

Last and final question... Anyone know any companies that hire in the tampa/orlando, FL areas for local or regional after say 6mo-1yr with one of the newbie acceptable companies?
