Well, here I am waiting on my Gray Dawg and it's an hour and a half late! Grr
It's 9pm here in NC and a freakin' 26+ hour bus ride. I won't get in til after mid night
And have to be at orientation, now Monday at 7am.... they asked if would move a day up since the new class
Is huge! I'm worried I'll be dead tired from Dawg Lag!

. At the rate this Gray Dawg is going, I might miss the Monday orientation altogether. Missing connecting bus in Atlanta . We'll see... the adventure is on!

If your not or wont be in class on Monday because of the delays, call your recruiter 1st thing and let them know what is going on. They are understanding if you keep them in the know.

Well, I rolled into Prime about 8am after over 34 hours on the Gray Dawg dead tired. Was immediately led to the orientation in progress and have this stack of paperwork to fill out. Now, wracking my brain for what I've done the past 10 years... hope I get it right or close. Also got my DOT out of the way, had lunch, now I've retreated to my room to attack this mountain of paper work! Sleep is calling but I shall persevere!

There's a LOT of guys here and a few gals as well. Seems like a relatively organized chaos, but things are getting done.

Sounds like you got the tough stuff out of the way (grey dawg, permit, DOT, paperwork). Life gets easier towards the end of the week with the permit done. Really ask around with different instructors and make sure you are compatible personality and such. You will be spending a lot of time with them over next few weeks.

Don't forget your hazmat info... you'll get to take the test again in NC when you transfer your license. They'll want to see your medical card as well.
