So I will be coming up on my one tear recent experience in the last three years in April. All I have ever done in this industry is reefer work. Looking for opinions and insights on hopper or tanker work.
I’m looking at Indian River for tanker and H and M for hopper work.

H&M is a rate cutting bottom feeder. If they are paying on percentage I would be careful of that one.

You can try these but you will probably need more experience. It doesn't hurt to make the call.

The companies I posted above will expect you to pull different types of trailers as needed.

How often do you need to be home? Where do you want to drive or avoid? With no info I would say get into a tanker company but I'm not going to play 20 questions about the 30 things that make working at one company better/worse than another company. The more you can describe what things you want, need, and would like the better the answers you may receive. You know you we don't know you. Help us out, please. Saying you don't care where you work or what you do isn't helping to focus on ANY answers.
