I don't know the proper name for them, rubber hood bump stops maybe, that's all I could think of to call them. They're not nearly as nice to look at though.......:biggrin_25525:

Didn't mean to turn this into an R-rated discussion!

That's ok. No infractions as of yet. MM was trying. I'll try adjusting those rubber bump stops, that sounds funny too.

Woke everyone up with that post RW!

When's corn harvest going to start there? We may be up to three weeks or longer away.

Most years, some of the hard chargers fire up their big dryers and start right after Labor Day, and by about the 3rd week of Sept, most everyone is going. But with the wet weather this spring, like last spring, the corn was late going in, so I expect it to be late Sept before anyone does much. Just looked up our records from last year, we hauled beans out of the field Oct. 1, didn't haul any corn out of the field until Oct. 4. The last corn we hauled out of the field was Nov 17. There was still corn left in the field until early Dec, just not people we haul for.

Do you haul high-moisture corn into feedlots? That was quite an experience for me when I worked for the harvesters. 30% corn, huge feedlots, don't have anything like that in IL, at least around here.

No, don't haul high moisture corn. That one in Turon is supposed to be big never hauled there.
