Finally got a hold of a living talking human at PENNDOT today, said the app was processed last night and everything needed is there and okay. Said the plate should be processed tonight and be issued then mailed with arrival in 7 to 10 days. That makes 5 or 6 weeks to get the plate. Once I have it 48 hours and I will be burning diesel.

Amazing everything just done when called? ? ?

I'll make ya'll some chicken and andouille gumbo at the next hopper dragger get together. That's by far the best way to eat yardbird. I like me some Cajun food. I miss Luzeanna food. They are starting to raise dem crawdads up here so that does help. Laissez Les bon temps roule'. Back to the rock detail for now.

I would say you were lucky to talk to a person. It drives me nuts to listen to all those recordings to try to get to a living person.

Have fun on rock detail. I have never eaten crawdads and pretty sure I don't want to. Maybe if cooked right but I don't know.

Crawfish are very good-boiled, in gumbo, in etouffee, in creole. I love em. They do need to be seasoned right but I can handle that. Another good day hauling rocks.

Trying to decide whether to increase my radius on insurance. Could triple my radius for fifty dollars a month. The rates aren't that great farther out so not sure.

Heard from people who were at the Farm Progress show earlier this week, they were trying to stuff 40% moisture corn through combines for the demonstration work. Yikes! :biggrin_25512: I think I've ate corn on the cob that was almost that dry. Said it was sticking in the grain tanks pretty bad. I could give a hoot less about seeing the new combines, but it would've been neat to see the Big Bud 747 though.

40% would be awfully wet. High moisture here is 30% or less I believe. Ready for harvest yet? I wouldn't have wanted to get that oil off the trailer.

Nope, its still on it, I just got back from my fencepost run to Ohio this afternoon. Planning on spending most of next week cleaning and working on stuff.
