Maybe. Probably would for a week or so until harvest. Harvest will take some time so probably wouldn't need it for a couple of months. After that depends on how much is moving anywhere. If it's like last winter wouldn't matter how big a radius I had nothing was moving.
I guess I'll wait till after harvest and see what's happening. Insurance renews in November, if it goes up may not up radius. Thanks Pawnd for asking the questions. -
Back to hauling seed wheat today... Wasn't too bad except roads were muddy. Boy those traps are hard to open even with just a little mud on them. Used low gear on traps rather than throw my back out on high. I still like my two speed... they hardly put them on trailers anymore. At least my Timpte dealer doesn't.

Think I've engineered a new shaker system. should be able to get the trailer to just about hop up and down.
Any interest? -
I probably wouldn't need it that bad with grain but it sounds interesting. Pharm, BHW might like it for what they haul. Anybody who hauls hard to get out loads would probably be interested.

Wheathauler I had to go back to the old crusher today cuz we went back to SB2 and they had that cheaper. It wasn't too bad tho. I had to adjust the brakes on old bob and 1 of them gave me fits. I finally got the collar down and got it done. I left some knuckle skin under there. These are old style adjusters-I backed em off back 1/2 a turn from snug. I didn't know if that would be enuf but they worked fine. Actually a lot better. The end dump search is intensifying.

wheathauler did you get your trailer from sanders in wichita? -
Oh yeah I forgot about that in my list of problems.
Yesterday I had to drop the trailer. There's no dedicated crank, just another bolt like the hoppers have. I cranked it down on hi, needed another half inch, put it in low and it didn't want to move. I gave it all i had and the bolt snapped right off.
So now it's sitting there with the legs down and no way to put them back up.
Wallygator says I need a mobil welder. Any other ideas? That's gonna mess me up when I get back there ready to pull.
I'm guessing vice-grips aren't going to hold right? -

My truck doesn't have that feature. But in this case I don't think it would matter, the trailer is as high as the 5th wheel right now. I can get under it ok, I just can't lift it any higher.
If I can get the legs up, it will probably be some time before I have to worry about it. I drop trailer maybe once every few months for whatever reason comes up.
Eclipse might even pay for it, it's their trailer. But I'm sure they're going to tell me I broke it. I did, but I don't think I did anything unreasonable.
