I'm at PCS Nitrogen in Augusta, GA picking up Urea.

This place is the pickiest I've ever seen. Watched a safety video, then got my trailer rejected because I didnt' have a wash ticket from today. Didn't look at it, didn't matter what I carried, policy is policy. All too happy to send me across the street for a $70 washout that took 3 minutes. Now back here and waiting more. Mandatory tarp inspection every 6 months, no one in that area for half hour or more, then next phase and no one here either. Guy came out, had to sign how I wanted it loaded and no more than 50k regardless of tare weight. They have a million and one ways to bite into the bottom line here on top of time.

They can get all of us once right?:biggrin_25510:

Strange place... Don't believe I've ever heard of just 50k load no exceptions. Probably some around just never heard of them until today.

    Pharm,

We have a few places that we go that won't go over 50,000. Which sucks, since hubby can haul a good 2400lbs more. :biggrin_25511:

They sound like jerks, or at least corporate yes men. Like Cargill! I hauled some wheat for them a few summers back from one elevator to another, wouldn't let me load over 78,800, like they are a higher power than the DOT or something. How much have I spent on aluminum stuff to get the truck lighter and then they act like that?? I'd put them on your list of least favorite places to go to!

I really don't know. I just went to an agent, he shopped my stats and they came back with the best price. If it's important I could find out.

The loaders here erred in my favor anyway. Pulling out at 79,400. :biggrin_25520:

See you all in Kentucky (Springfield)!
